About Hyundai Subscription

Hyundai Subscription is a service provided directly by Hyundai that allows you to subscribe on a monthly or annual basis to their vehicles. There is also an option to subscribe for weekdays only. The service allows you to access brand-new or unboxed (less than 2 years old) cars, with Hyundai using Revv to list and manage their offering. You must be over 21 and have a valid driving license, as well as being in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, or Kolkata.

How it works

Hyundai Subscription is accessible from the Hyundai site, but then redirects to the Revv Open subscription site. This is available on an app or via the main website. The sign-up process includes an ID and work check. Eligibility varies slightly depending on if you are subscribing to a new or an unboxed car, as does the deposit. The lead time for a new car is 30-45 days, while it is 7-15 on an unboxed car. You must also choose if you want to use the annual or monthly subscription. The following restrictions apply:

  • 2,000km per month
  • You pay for fuel
  • Servicing, roadside assistance, insurance, and tax are covered by the subscription
  • You can allow other drivers to use the car, but it remains your responsibility

Costs and fees

Costs range from around 22,199 INR per month, but this varies depending on what city you are in, and the amount reduces the longer you sign up for in advance. The refundable security deposit also varies by car, by whether you choose a new or an unboxed car, and by whether you choose the monthly or yearly subscription service. The maximum subscription to any car is 48 months, which provides the cheapest terms. After that, or at any time during your contract, you have the option to purchase the car based on an automatically generated settlement fee.

Brands and models

Hyundai are offering a wide range of their vehicles to this subscription service, but it does vary by city:

  • Santro Magna and Sportz
  • Elite i20 Magna and Sportz
  • Aura Kappa and CRDI S
  • Grand i10 NIOS Magna and Sportz
  • Venue Turbo, DCT S, and CRDi 1.5 S
  • Creta CRDi, MPi
  • Verna CVT and S
  • ElantraRDI SX and VTVT SX
  • XCent

Notice periods

You can swap car whenever you want at a cost of 1000 INR per swap. Alternatively, to end your subscription, give 3 weeks’ notice and your subscription will end at the end of the current billing month.

What is special about Hyundai Subscription?

If you are a fan of Hyundai vehicles, then Hyundai Subscription gives you access to a range of the latest models, and you can decide to keep your vehicle on a monthly basis for as long as you wish, or even to buy the car outright if you decide you really like it. The annual mileage is generous, and the cover is comprehensive, leaving you just fuel to pay for. As Hyundai use Revv to run their service, they are outsourcing to an experienced subscription provider.
