Simplr. is a car subscription company with over 1000 vehicles to choose from and on one of three weekly/fortnightly/monthly plans. You choose the plan, add the car (and its cost) on top, then drive away in an all-inclusive vehicle on a 120-day minimum subscription term. You have the option to switch your car after 120 days. Customers can sign up, arrange collection, then drive until their return date, with the option to purchase at the end of the term. The service is available to over 21-s with a P2 license as a minimum and no convictions in the last five years.

Notice periods
Each vehicle has a minimum subscription term of 120 days. For a free vehicle swaps, each vehicle must reach this minimum term and provide Simplr with 21 days’ written notice to swap. To swap a vehicle before its minimum term, an early vehicle swap fee is applied.

How do I pay tolls?
You are responsible for paying tolls on your vehicle. You must make sure that you update your toll account with the car’s registration plate.
How often do Simplr take payments?
With Simplr, you can choose the payment cycle before you start your subscription. Your choices are weekly, fortnightly or monthly with payments taken in advance of the period they cover.
Can I swap my car before 120 days?
Yes you can swap early by giving 21 days’ notice. However, if you do this, there will be an early swap fee of $350.
How many additional drivers can I add?
You can add up to five additional drivers. Each driver will need to meet the same eligibility criteria that you did to get the subscription in the first place, and there will be a charge of $10 per additional driver, per week.
Is subscribing to a vehicle the same as renting?
There are similarities in that you don’t own the vehicle and at the end of the term, you give it back. However, the difference is the flexibility. With Simplr, you can subscribe longer term, swap your vehicle for something else, or keep it short-term.
